A CV and a short statement highlighting the main scientific/clinical achievements of the proposed candidate(s) in connection with medical(clinical) mycology should be attached.
Lucille-Georg award
Two Lucille-Georg awards for life-time achievement may be awarded each to
- a basic mycology scientist
- a clinical mycologist
These two awards are considered recognitions for life-time achievement for established mycologists from the ISHAM membership.
Awardees will receive a prize of 1,000 CHF plus the medal. Nominations of current council members is not possible.
An independent committee, selected by the council, considers the nominations received and recommends the potential recipients to the ISHAM council.
The award ceremony will be during ISHAM 2025 and the candidates are expected to give a short (20 mins) lecture on a topic of their choice.
ISHAM travel award for Young ISHAM members (n=2)
The prize to consist of a certificate of recognition, 1000 CHF and an ISHAM travel award. The recipients (one clinical, one basic scientist) must be Young ISHAM members and awardees will be selected by an independent committee supervised by the YISHAM vice-president and proposed to the Council.
